Kylian Mbappé returns to training ahead of Bayern clash

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has returned to training with the team and is ready to take part in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.

It was previously reported that the 27-year-old Frenchman missed training due to discomfort from a cut on his eyebrow sustained in the 1–1 draw with Girona in Round 31 of La Liga, CE Report quotes MIA.

In the 89th minute, Mbappé was struck in the face by Girona defender Viktor Reis. The referee ignored the incident, and the forward remained on the ground with a bleeding face until receiving medical attention.

The second leg against the Bavarians will take place on April 15 at the Allianz Arena and will kick off at 21:00. The first match ended with a 2–1 victory for Bayern Munich.

This season, Mbappé has played 37 matches in all competitions, scoring 39 goals and providing six assists.
