Chinese cultural festival comes to Moldova's Chișinău
Residents of the Moldovan capital are invited to discover the charm and diversity of Chinese culture at the “Spring Fair – Festival of Chinese Traditions,” organized by the Confucius Institute at ULIM.
The event promises an authentic journey into the world of Asian traditions, bringing the spirit and colors of China closer to the public, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
The festival will transform the university space into a true corner of Eastern culture, where visitors will be able to explore customs, flavors, and artistic expressions specific to China in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The program includes a concert performed by teachers and students of the Confucius Institute, who will present artistic moments inspired by Chinese cultural heritage — music, dance, and demonstrations reflecting the refinement of centuries-old traditions.
After the recital, participants will have the opportunity to taste Chinese dishes and take part in traditional games, discovering through direct experience key elements of Chinese culture.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 28, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Palace of the Republic. Admission is free, but access is granted exclusively by ticket. The tickets include coupons for tastings and participation in games, allowing each visitor to fully experience the festive atmosphere.
Through this event, Chișinău will become, for one day, a space for intercultural dialogue, bringing Chinese traditions closer to the local community.
