Over 40 cultural events will take place across the Republic of Moldova in March as part of the “Mărțișor în toată țara” program. Now in its third year, the initiative features some of the country’s most renowned artistic groups and performers, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

The program includes performances by ensembles such as Joc, Lăutarii, Noroc, Millenium, Mugurel, Fluieraș, Folclor, Select Cvartet Plus, Ștefan Vodă, Crenguța de iederă, and the National Youth Orchestra.

Individual artists performing during the program include Gabriel Nebunu, Vali Boghean, Constantin Moscovici, Anișoara Puică, Nelly Ciobanu, Vitalie Dani, Mihai Ciobanu, Pavel Efremov, and Constantin Borodin.

The first concerts are scheduled for March 1 in Viișoara (Edineț district) and in the city of Cimișlia. Local authorities are encouraged to complement the artistic agenda with fairs, craft exhibitions, local artist performances, and interactive workshops.

The Mărțișor celebration marks the beginning of spring. In Moldova, it is traditionally associated with the Mărțișor International Music Festival, held annually in early March since 1966, featuring folk, classical, and popular music concerts, as well as choreographic performances.
