Kosovo's tourism sector shows strong growth

The number of visitors to hotels in Kosovo increased in February 2026 compared to the same period last year, according to data published by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK), reports KosovaPress.

During this month, a total of 56,644 visitors were recorded in hotels, of whom 24,416 were domestic visitors, while 32,228 were foreign visitors, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Compared to February 2025, when 51,795 visitors were recorded, the total number of visitors increased by 9.4 percent.

The number of overnight stays in hotels reached 112,367. Of these, 60,513 overnight stays (53.8 percent) were by foreign visitors, while 51,854 (46.1 percent) were by domestic visitors.

Regarding foreign visitors, ASK reports an increase of 16.1 percent compared to February 2025.

The largest number of foreign visitors staying in Kosovo’s hotels came from Albania, Germany, Turkey, and Switzerland.

These data indicate a positive trend in the country’s tourism and hospitality sector.
