Bosnia's Mostar Airport welcomes charter from Bulgaria's Varna
Despite extremely strong winds, Mostar Airport successfully welcomed a Bulgaria Air aircraft carrying as many as 180 passengers.
The flight was a charter from Varna, a well-known city on the Black Sea coast, officially marking the start of another wave of foreign tourist arrivals in Herzegovina, Mostar Airport said in a statement, CE Report quotes FENA.
The guests who arrived in Mostar will spend their stay in Neum, but will also explore southern Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia—from natural attractions to cultural and historical landmarks.
This is just the first in a series of a total of 16 pre-arranged and fully sold-out charter flights between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina, operating on the Varna–Mostar and Sofia–Mostar routes, the airport added.
