Moldovan MoD Denies Troop Deployment to Ukraine

The Moldovan Ministry of Defense has dismissed claims circulating online that Moldovan soldiers will be sent to fight in Ukraine. The allegations suggest a decision was made during Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatîi’s supposed visit to Kyiv on May 21, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

The Ministry clarified that Nosatîi did not visit Ukraine on that date, instead attending a cabinet meeting and visiting a local training center.

The Defense Ministry emphasized that there is no agreement between Moldova and Ukraine about sending troops to the front lines.
