Kosovo Police Seize Weapons, Narcotics in Suhareka Raid

A suspect has been arrested for usury, illegal possession of weapons and unauthorized possession of narcotics, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Kosovo Police announces that the incident occurred in Suhareka, while during the search of the house, apartment and surrounding buildings, two pistols, ammunition, a vehicle and narcotics were seized.

"On 16.04.2025, DHKR with DHTN in cooperation with the Basic Prosecutor of Prizren searched the house-accompanying objects, the vehicle and a rented apartment of the Kosovar male suspect, during which material evidence was found and confiscated: two pistols, two magazines with 9 cartridges, an automatic weapon with 81 cartridges, a vehicle, 1 kg and 57 grams of marijuana-type narcotics, an electronic scale, two grinders, and two mobile phones," the 24-hour police report states.

According to the police, the defendant is also suspected of usury, he was arrested and, by decision of the prosecutor, was taken into custody.
