Israeli Cabinet Approves Expanded Gaza Military Operations

Italy

The Israeli cabinet unanimously approved the plan to expand military operations in the Gaza Strip overnight.

This was reported by Haaretz and The Times of Israel, CE Report quotes ANSA.

According to reports, a plan was also approved to allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and its distribution through private companies, although National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir voted against it.

The plan, writes The Times of Israel, will only be implemented after Donald Trump's visit to the region next week.

Until then, efforts will continue to reach an agreement with Hamas on a ceasefire and hostages.
