ECB: Eurozone Growth Slows Sharply in Q2
The ECB (European Central Bank) reports a "significant slowdown in economic growth in the second quarter" for the eurozone, along with a moderation in momentum in the short term, amid ongoing high uncertainty, CE Report quotes ANSA.
According to its economic bulletin, recent surveys indicate only modest expansion in both the manufacturing and services sectors.
At the same time, higher actual and expected tariffs, a stronger euro, and persistent geopolitical uncertainty are lowering companies' willingness to invest.
