EU's Marta Kos discusses Serbia's European future with Student List leader
European Union Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos spoke with Ilija Srdanović, leader of the “Students Win” electoral list, and congratulated him on the list’s impressive victory in Serbia’s parliamentary elections.
"I spoke with Ilija Srdanović to congratulate the Student List on their impressive election victory. We discussed how important it is to build trust.
The Serbian people have given a strong mandate for change. Their demands for the rule of law, the fight against corruption and free media are the reforms which can bring Serbia closer to the EU.
We are ready to support the new Serbian government in progressing on its European path," Kos wrote on X.
