Tobey Maguire officiates ex-wife Jennifer Meyer’s wedding

The strong friendship between former spouses Jennifer Meyer and Tobey Maguire has continued even after their separation in 2016. The actor, best known for playing Spider-Man, even officiated Meyer’s wedding to Geoffrey Ogunlesi on October 10 in Hawaii.

Maguire and Meyer, who have two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, were married from 2007 to 2016. The wedding was also attended by celebrities including Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, as well as Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Meyer and Ogunlesi, the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi, welcomed a daughter five months ago. Meyer announced the birth in June in an Instagram post marking Father’s Day.

She has revealed that maintaining a good relationship with Maguire after their separation was not always easy, particularly while raising their children. The former couple also attended therapy together to work through their difficulties.

Today, Meyer describes her former husband as her best friend, saying that they would do anything for each other.
