Diane Keaton’s daughter pays tribute on first death anniversary
Diane Keaton’s daughter is still struggling with the pain of losing her mother, E! News reports.
On the first anniversary of the Oscar-winning actress’s death, Dexter Keaton White shared an emotional message reflecting on what she misses most about her mother, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“One year without you, Mom. Somehow, it feels like it happened yesterday and, at the same time, like an eternity has passed,” Dexter wrote in an Instagram post on October 10, alongside a black-and-white photograph with the Annie Hall star.
The 30-year-old said she was still trying to adjust to a world in which she could no longer call her mother, hug her or share adventures with her.
“It’s the everyday moments that remind me how much I wish you were still here,” she wrote.
At the end of her message, Dexter emphasized that she would always keep her mother’s memory close to her heart.
“I love you and miss you. Always.”
The actress’s daughter, whom Diane adopted in 1996, also shared a sweet photograph from her 2021 wedding to Jordan White. In the picture, Dexter wears a white wedding dress, while Diane is seen wearing a hat, sunglasses and her signature suit.
Diane Keaton died at the age of 79 on October 11 last year, following a battle with pneumonia.
