Sanremo 2026: Fedez returns to Teatro Ariston with new song Battito

“Last year, before going on stage at the Sanremo Music Festival, I kept repeating one sentence: ‘Do you know what will happen? What’s meant to happen.’ At that moment, everything felt like it was slipping out of my hands, but those words reminded me of a simple and liberating truth: not everything is under our control, and there’s no point in tormenting ourselves over what escapes us. I had my words and my music. Just those. And they were enough.”

This was written by Fedez on social media on the eve of the festival, CE Report quotes ANSA.

“That journey, which started under the worst possible circumstances,” he added, “turned into one of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences of my life. Because sometimes the journey matters infinitely more than the destination. And in the end, we never truly know, in the moment, what is really ‘good’ or ‘bad’ for us. The hardest, most chaotic, most frightening periods are often the ones that, over time, become the most precious memories. Exactly one year later, here I am again. Suitcase ready and the same sentence buzzing in my head. Without that dark period, Battito would never have been born. And without Battito, the song that is bringing me back to Sanremo would never have existed. This time too, I don’t know what will happen. But I can’t wait for it to happen. See you on the stage of the Teatro Ariston.”
