Jessie J Postpones Tour for Second Breast Cancer Surgery
British singer Jessie J has announced that she must undergo a second surgery after being diagnosed with breast cancer, forcing her to postpone her upcoming tour, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“Unfortunately, I need to have a second surgery, nothing too serious, but it must be done before the end of the year, and unfortunately this falls right in the middle of a tour I had scheduled,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.
The 37-year-old singer, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, revealed in June that she had been diagnosed with “early-stage breast cancer.”
She underwent surgery later that month, and in July said she was “doing well” and that “there is no spread of the cancer.”
However, the need for another procedure later this year means the artist must reschedule her planned tour in the UK, Europe, and the United States.
She did not give details about the upcoming surgery, although previously said she needed another procedure so that her breasts would look more similar after the mastectomy.
Jessie J confirmed that the European leg of her tour has been moved from October to April 2026, while the US leg — originally scheduled for November — has been canceled for now, as her team has not yet found a suitable time frame with preferred venues.
