The new editor of Vanity Fair floated the idea of featuring Melania Trump on the magazine’s cover, sparking backlash among staff.
According to reports, many employees threatened to quit, CE Report quotes ANSA.
“We will not normalize this despot and his wife. We will fight,” one staffer told the New York Post, referring to Donald and Melania Trump.
Another added, “If Melania is put on the cover, half the newsroom will leave.”
However, others believe that despite the protests, no one will actually resign, as no one wants to leave such a prestigious position.
