Woody Allen Criticized for Attending Festival Supporting Putin
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the decision of actor and director Woody Allen, a four-time Oscar winner, to participate in the Moscow International Film Week, CE Report quotes ANSA.
"The participation of Woody Allen in the Moscow International Film Week is a disgrace and an insult to the sacrifice of Ukrainian actors and directors killed or injured by Russian war criminals in their ongoing war against Ukraine," stated the ministry.
By attending a festival that gathers supporters and voices of Putin, Allen chooses to "turn a blind eye" to Moscow's atrocities.
