Biggest Aviation Deal in South Korea’s History
Just hours after the bilateral meeting in Washington between U.S. President Donald Trump and South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, the Seoul-based airline made public its "intention to purchase 103 next-generation aircraft from Boeing," marking a record-breaking deal—the largest in South Korean aviation history, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The purchase, which also includes spare engines from GE Aerospace, is valued at approximately $50 billion, according to the carrier.
The aircraft are expected to be delivered "by the end of 2030."
