
EU: Greece Meets Fiscal Targets, Faces Imbalances
The European Commission has positively assessed Greece's progress in implementing its medium-term fiscal plan, as part of the European Semester Spring Package. Greece is among 13 EU member states whose plans were found to align with recommended limits on net expenditure, accounting for national flexibility rules, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
However, the Commission also noted that Greece, alongside five other countries, continues to experience significant macroeconomic imbalances due to persistent vulnerabilities.
