National Economy Ministry: Greece on steady trajectory of development and convergence with European average

Greece is on a steady trajectory of development and convergence with the European average, the National Economy & Finance Ministry said, commenting on the fall forecast of the European Commission for the years 2024, 2025, and 2026 that were published on Friday, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

According to the ministry, these forecasts confirm that despite an economic environment of fairly low economic growth in the European continent, the Greek economy continues its very positive course and its convergence with the European average. Both this year and the following two, the Commission foresees that Greece will achieve growth rates significantly higher than the average in the eurozone and the European Union, both in total and in terms of real per capita GDP, the ministry said.
