Net wages climb across key sectors in North Macedonia

In North Macedonia, the average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2026 was 48,779 denars.

The average monthly net wage paid per employee in April 2026, compared to April 2025, increased by 7.3%, CE Report informs via the State Statistical Office of North Macedonia's official website.

This increase is caused by the increase of the average monthly net wage paid per employee in the sectors: Financial and insurance activities by 27.0%, Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 9.4% and Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 9.2%.

Increase in the average monthly net wage paid per employee compared to the previous month was recorded in the sectors: Financial and insurance activities by 20.1%, Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 2.1% and Administrative and support service activities by 2.0%.
