Energy Drive Launched in Burgas
Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov launched a national home retrofitting campaign in Burgas on Thursday, marking the restart of Bulgaria’s long-delayed Energy Efficiency Programme. Visiting a building in the Meden Rudnik estate, Zhelyazkov emphasized that fully public funding is the only effective model, as it builds public trust, CE Report quotes BTA
He highlighted the dual approach to energy efficiency—producing more energy and saving existing energy—with a focus on Bulgaria’s nuclear potential and cutting household costs. The Bulgarian Development Bank will play a key role in funding the initiative. Zhelyazkov also visited St Anastasia Children’s Hospital during his trip.
