FM Kuleba urges all nations to mount unified global response to Russia’s food terrorism

War in Ukraine

Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba has called on all nations, particularly those in Africa and Asia, to mount a unified global response to Russia’s food terrorism.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russia hit another Ukrainian grain storage overnight. It tries to extract concessions by holding 400 million people hostage. I urge all nations, particularly those in Africa and Asia who are most affected by rising food prices, to mount a united global response to food terrorism,” Kuleba wrote.

A reminder that, on the night of July 24, 2023, Russia launched an almost four-hour drone attack on the Danube port infrastructure in the Odesa region. A grain hangar was destroyed, and the storage reservoirs intended for other types of goods were damaged.
