Gunfire reported near Israeli consulate in Istanbul
Gunfire was reported near the Israeli Consulate in Istanbul.
According to the Turkish broadcaster NTV, multiple police patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene.
NTV further reported that three people were “neutralized” during a firefight with police near the Israeli Consulate in the Levent area on the European side of the city, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The shooting lasted approximately five minutes, and videos circulated on Turkish media captured multiple gunshots in the vicinity of the consulate.
The broadcaster also stated that the three individuals involved in the shooting had reportedly arrived at the scene wearing camouflage clothing.
