Real Madrid close to record-breaking deal for RB Leipzig's Yan Diomande

Real Madrid is close to completing the signing of RB Leipzig talent Yan Diomande in a deal that is expected to become the biggest transfer in the history of the German club.

The two clubs have entered the final stages of negotiations over the transfer of the winger. The total package, including bonuses, is expected to be worth between €130 million and €140 million, with discussions currently focused only on the final payment structure.

The green light for the medical examination has not yet been given, but the negotiations are not considered at risk and the agreement is viewed as very close to completion.

Diomande, who was recently sidelined due to an infection, has fully recovered and has joined the Leipzig squad at their training camp in Austria while waiting for the transfer to the Spanish giants to be finalized.

If the deal goes through, the 20-year-old will become the most expensive sale in RB Leipzig's history. Real Madrid sees the player as a long-term investment and an important addition to its attacking options.
