Construction work on the Livadhet e Istogut–Mokna road is progressing according to schedule, with the project fully financed by Kosovo's Ministry of Infrastructure under a cooperation memorandum with the Municipality of Istog.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport of Kosovo, work is currently underway on the second phase of the project, covering 11.9 kilometers and carrying a base contract value of €2,844,411.83, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The ministry said that, together with the previously completed first phase, its total investment in the road exceeds €3.6 million, enabling the paving of 19.1 kilometers of roadway.

The investment is expected to significantly improve traffic flow, provide easier access to one of Istog's areas with strong tourism potential, and create better conditions for both residents and visitors.

The ministry said it remains committed to investing in projects that modernize Kosovo's road infrastructure and improve the quality of life for citizens across all municipalities.
