Another European airline comes to Albania

Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania Ferit Hoxha announced on the social media platform X the launch of direct flights between Luxembourg and Tirana operated by Luxair.

The minister described the arrival of another European airline in Albania as excellent news, CE Report informs via the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania's official Facebook page.

“Starting on March 29, 2027, this new year-round route will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, establishing the first regular direct air connection between Luxembourg and Albania,” Minister Hoxha wrote.

According to him, the new and welcome connection between the two countries will bring their people, businesses and communities even closer together.

Earlier, on April 21 this year, Minister Hoxha visited Luxair’s headquarters, where he met with the company’s CEO, Gilles Feith. During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of establishing a direct Luxembourg–Tirana air connection.
