Air France-KLM Plans Full Acquisition of SAS Shares
Air France-KLM intends to acquire a majority stake in SAS, the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, increasing its current holding from 19.9% to 60.5% through the full acquisition of shares held by Castlelake and Lind Invest, CE Report quotes ANSA.
This information was released in an official statement by the Franco-Dutch airline group.
The Danish government would retain its 26.4% stake in SAS as well as its seats on the board of directors.
The value of the investment will be determined at the time of the transaction’s closure, based on SAS’s most recent financial results, including EBITDA and net debt, the statement clarified.
