Albania opens Riviera season with music and Mediterranean magic

Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama shared images from the coast of Himara, inviting citizens to enjoy the opening celebration of the tourist season on the southern shores of Albania. As part of the festivities, a two-day festival titled “Magic Over the Ionian” will be held, CE Report quotes ATA.

“Himara opens the tourist season, more welcoming and ready than ever,” Rama wrote in his post.

In the video published by the Prime Minister, the natural beauty of Himara is showcased, along with the planned festival program for this weekend. Tonight, singer Aurela Gaçe will perform, while on Saturday evening the stage will belong to renowned Greek singer Christos Mastoras.

The celebrations aim to promote Himara as one of the most attractive destinations on the Albanian Riviera.
