Croatia expands flight network: 42 countries, 54 airlines

According to preliminary data collected by the Croatian Tourist Board (HTZ) from Croatian airports, during the summer flight season, from the end of March to the end of October, Croatia will be connected to 122 foreign cities.

Most flights are expected from London, Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna, CE Report quotes HINA.

During the summer season, direct connections between Croatia and 42 countries are expected, mostly within Europe, while connections to destinations on other continents are planned for the USA, Canada, South Korea, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

Almost all airports are anticipating increased traffic, with the highest number of passenger aircraft operations planned for Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik airports. Looking at the source markets, the highest number of operations is planned for Germany, the UK, France, Italy, and Poland.

The individual airports with the most planned operations to Croatia are Munich-Franz Josef Strauss, Frankfurt/Main-Frankfurt Airport, Vienna-Vienna International, Amsterdam Schiphol, and London-Gatwick.

In total, during the summer flight season, 54 airlines will operate on routes between Croatia and foreign destinations, with the carriers expecting the highest number of rotations on domestic and foreign routes being Croatia Airlines, Ryanair, Easyjet, Eurowings and Lufthansa.

The Croatian Tourist Board notes that these are preliminary announcements and changes in the listed information are possible.
