Italian astronaut to walk on Moon
An Italian astronaut will walk on the Moon: this is foreseen by the agreement signed today in Washington by the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, responsible for space, and NASA CEO Jared Isaacman.
This was written in a post on X by the President of the Italian Space Agency, Teodoro Valente, CE Report quotes ANSA.
“A long-standing space cooperation, now even deeper between NASA and ASI,” Valente writes, “will lead to the creation of a lunar base camp and an Italian astronaut walking on the lunar surface.” Thanks to the agreement, the Italian lunar habitat module (MPH) will become an integral part of the Artemis program.
