About 100 sports clubs from across the country will hold a rally to protest the leadership of the Bulgarian Confederation of Kick-Boxing and Muay Thai and the inadequate use of the confederation's budget, head of the Sofia-based Star Team sports club, Denitsa Milenkova.

The rally will take place in front of the Ministry of Youth and Sports at midday on Thursday, CE Report quotes BTA.

At the last Annual General Meeting, the clubs withdrew their confidence from President Galin Dimov and the Confederation's Executive Board.

All affected clubs, coaches, and athletes are demanding the resignation of the current leadership and the urgent convening of an extraordinary General Assembly.

The rally will seek answers to why the Bulgarian Confederation of Kick-Boxing and Muay Thai would not call an extraordinary General Assembly, why it refuses to listen to its member clubs, and how its budget continues to be spent on personal interests rather than on sports.
