“We are all still saddened and upset by last night’s match at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium. Now we are filled with collective concern: what could have been done this way or that way, this or that, or both… I know we wanted a different game and a different result, as the entire nation wanted victory, but our boys deserved it as well,” Kurti wrote on Facebook.
“Therefore, today and every other day, go Kosovo! Thank you to all the players, the coach, and the staff for their great commitment in every match.”
The Prime Minister underlined that the fact Kosovo came so close to qualification shows its potential and how near it is to major achievements in the future.
