Bulgarian divers dominate Austrian championships with six gold medals
Bulgarian divers won six gold and one silver medal at the Austrian Championships held in Vienna.
Iva Ereminova became the overall champion, dominating the 1-metre and 3-metre springboards and the platform events in the senior girls’ category. Ereminova, a student of coach Georgi Chobanov, won all three disciplines, CE Report quotes BTA.
Yoan Valkov secured two gold medals in the 1-metre and 3-metre springboard events and added a silver medal on the platform in the youngest age group. Kris Yordanov captured gold on the platform in the 12-13 age category.
In the senior boys’ division, Yoan Yanev finished sixth on the 1-metre springboard, while Lazar Racic placed seventh.
In the men’s events, Toma Kaymakanov finished fifth on the 3-metre springboard and sixth on the 1-metre springboard, where Georgi Hasanov placed seventh.
