Bulgarian swimmer wins silver medal at Winter World Championships
Bulgarian swimmer Tsanko Tsankov won a silver medal at the Winter Swimming World Championships in Oulu, Finland.
Tsankov finished second in the 200 metres freestyle in 2:11.29. Denmark’s Viktor Bromer won gold in 2:07.48, while Italy’s Egor Tropeano took bronze in 2:12.70, CE Report quotes BTA.
A total of 73 swimmers started the race in the icy waters.
Tsankov is due to compete next on Wednesday in the 450 metres freestyle.
