EA7 Emporio Armani Milan wins Italian Basketball Cup

Olimpia Milano (EA7 Emporio Armani Milan) won the Italian Basketball Cup after defeating Derthona Basket (Bertram Derthona Tortona) 85–77.

The game was played at the Pala Alpitour in Turin. Milan closed the first quarter with a commanding 33–18 lead and went into halftime ahead 47–45, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.

Bertram Derthona Tortona delivered a stronger third quarter performance and entered the final period leading 62–59.

However, regaining control of the game, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan secured an 85–77 victory, lifting the Italian Cup trophy for the ninth time.

For Milan, Armoni Brooks scored 20 points and Marko Guduric added 18, while Josh Nebo recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Derthona’s Prentiss Hubb was the game’s top scorer with 23 points.
