Albanian ski star claims podium in Austria

Italian-Albanian skier Lara Colturi continued her impressive run on the World Cup circuit, delivering another standout performance in Gurgl, Austria.

Representing Albania, Colturi claimed a second consecutive runner-up finish in the Slalom event, CE Report quotes ATA.

Colturi clocked a total time of 1:49.34, finishing 1.23 seconds behind winner Mikaela Shiffrin. Switzerland’s Camille Rast completed the podium in third place.

On her first run, the 18-year-old clocked 54.53 seconds, securing the provisional second place. In the second run, she posted the 10th-fastest time with 54.81 seconds, but her combined time was enough to secure another runner-up finish.

Another medal for Albania in the Ski World Cup. Following her success in Levi, the Albanian flag was raised once again—this time in Austria, where Lara Colturi claimed second place on the podium.
