World Boxing Association appoints new president
The World Boxing Association, which oversees amateur boxing, has appointed a new president.
At the congress in Rome, delegates entrusted a three-year term to Gennady Golovkin, the governing body announced, CE Report quotes STA.
The Kazakh boxer may be eligible for a second, four-year term after completing his first.
