Moldovan weightlifters achieve strong results at European U20 Championships
Adriana Conac achieved an impressive result at the European Under-20 Weightlifting Championship, held in Durrës, Albania.
The Moldovan weightlifter won the bronze medal in the snatch event in the 69 kg category, successfully lifting 92 kg, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
According to the National Olympic and Sports Committee, Adriana Conac placed seventh overall in the final standings.
In the men’s competition, Alexandr Baldji ranked fifth in the 79 kg category, while Iulian Betca finished sixth in the 60 kg category, lifting a total of 232 kg.
The European Under-20 Weightlifting Championship takes place from October 28 to November 4, 2025, in Durrës, Albania.
