Albania to host Real Madrid-backed football academy

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

The focus of the meeting was on bringing to Albania the football school and the Sports University established and supported by the foundation of the prestigious Spanish club, CE Report quotes ATA.

“I am privileged by the hospitality of the legendary Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, where we discussed bringing to Albania the football school and the Sports University created and supported by the foundation of this prestigious Spanish club,” Rama wrote on social media.

Currently, Durrës is becoming a hub for international sports academies, with the necessary infrastructure being built for the Manchester City Academy as well as Rafael Nadal’s Tennis Academy.
