Ana Maria Dogan secured Romania’s first medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) 2025 in Skopje, winning bronze in the women’s long jump with a personal best of 6.09 meters, CE Report quotes AGERPRES

Gold went to Aleksandra Sochaka of Poland (6.13 m), and silver to Finland’s Ella Verna Josefine Wallin (6.12 m).

Romania is represented by 87 athletes (38 girls, 49 boys) competing in 11 sports. At EYOF 2023 in Maribor, the country placed fourth overall with 20 medals.
