Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović and British boxer Tyson Fury are set to have a boxing match on August 1.

The fight is expected to take place in Dublin, Ireland, CE Report quotes MIA.

There is currently no official information regarding the broadcast of the Ibrahimović vs. Fury bout. Details may become available closer to the date of the fight.

The 37-year-old Fury is a world champion in the WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring organizations. His record stands at 35 wins (24 by knockout), 2 losses, and 1 draw. His most recent opponent was Russian-born Canadian boxer Arslanbek Makhmudov, whom Fury defeated by unanimous decision on April 11, 2026.

The 44-year-old Ibrahimović retired from professional football in 2023. The Swedish striker played for Malmö, Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, Milan, PSG, Manchester United, and LA Galaxy. He currently works as a senior advisor at RedBird Capital Partners, the investment firm that owns AC Milan.
