Brugge sends firm message to Milan regarding Ardon Jashari

The transfer saga between Ardon Jashari and AC Milan continues to dominate the front pages in Belgium and Italy, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

After the Swiss midfielder's absence from the Super Cup won by Club Brugge against Union Saint-Gilloise (2-1), the team's captain, Hans Vanaken, has commented on the situation in ironic and direct tones.

"I understand Jashari. I would also like to go to Milan at his age. If Milan really wants him, let them pay 40 million euros and we will get over this story," Vanaken declared to "Dazn".

He added that the team is ready to welcome the player back if he returns to training, but stressed that Brugge cannot remain hostage to personal desires: "If he doesn't want to play for us, we will deal with it. Life goes on."

Coach Nicky Hayen confirmed that Jashari should return to training on Monday, while expressing confidence that the club will manage the situation properly, although he described it as complicated.

For now, everything depends on Milan and their willingness to meet Brugge's financial request, which amounts to 40 million euros. Jashari remains a clear target for the Rossoneri, but competition and price could become serious obstacles to the transfer.
