Milan signs Pietro Terracciano on two-year deal
Pietro Terracciano is practically the third signing for the new Milan of Igli Tare. After Ricci and Modric, the Rossoneri have also signed their former number one, who has signed a two-year contract: he will be the deputy of Maignan, replacing Sportiello, who is ready to return to Atalanta, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
All that is missing is official confirmation. The 35-year-old's arrival is considered a minor move, with reinforcements expected elsewhere on the pitch. Starting from the wings, where all eyes are now on Marc Pubill, the 22-year-old from Almeria. The Rossoneri have intensified contact with the winger's agent Ramadani, aiming to complete the deal quickly and beat off competition, especially Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Tare is hoping to spend just over 10 million euros, with the Spanish club aiming to get around 15 million euros instead. That is certainly less than Strasbourg's 25 million euros asking price for Guéla Doué. Securing Allegri with additional wingers (the left winger also needs to be sorted) is the priority at this stage of the transfer window, while negotiations over Jashari are ongoing. The midfielder has returned to training with Club Brugge and is not giving up hope of joining the Rossoneri.
Champions League, Barcelona with one foot in the semi-finals
On the attacking front, Milan are said to be interested in Jean-Philippe Mateta, a physically strong 28-year-old striker who is under contract with Crystal Palace until 2027. The Frenchman, who scored 17 goals in all competitions last season (14 in the Premier League alone), is valued at a whopping 30 million euros by the English club. According to L'Equipe, this price has discouraged Milan, who are keen to spend less. However, the striker's transfer to join Santiago Gimenez will not take place until mid-August.
