Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri was admitted to a private clinic in Rome on Wednesday morning due to a sudden health condition, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

According to the prestigious Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the 65-year-old was admitted to the Villa Mafalda clinic, one of the most renowned medical institutions in the Italian capital.

His health condition has not yet been officially announced by the club or his family, while Italian media write that the coach has had concerns that have required immediate medical intervention. It is not yet known whether this is a serious problem or just a routine medical check-up after the fatigue of the preparatory period.

Sarri, known for his distinctive management style and his dedication to tactical football, has been in charge of Lazio since 2021.

While awaiting an official statement from the Lazio club, fans and the sports community in Italy hope that Sarri's condition is not serious and that he will recover as soon as possible to return to the team on the eve of the new Serie A season.
