Ex-Real Madrid player joins Albania's Flamurtari

The Flamurtari team from Vlorë (Albania), newly promoted to the Superliga this season, is having a transfer window marked by significant signings.

The Vlorë-based club has officially announced the signing of former Real Madrid player José Rodríguez, CE Report quotes ATA.

Born in 1994, Rodríguez plays as a central midfielder and arrives following stints at clubs such as Real Madrid, Deportivo La Coruña, Málaga CF, CF Fuenlabrada (Spain), Galatasaray, Adana Demirspor (Turkey), FSV Mainz 05 (Germany), Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Haifa (Israel), Fortuna Sittard (Netherlands), and Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium).

Flamurtari has also confirmed the signing of central midfielder Cristian Núñez.

Núñez is likewise an experienced international player, having previously played for clubs such as Yverdon Sport FC (Switzerland), CA Banfield, CD Godoy Cruz, CA Lanús, Club Atlético Platense, CA Vélez (Argentina), Club Sol de América, and Tacuary Football Club (Paraguay).

Additionally, Flamurtari has renewed the contract of player Christ Evo Ememe.
