Slovenian athletics star shines in Pole Vault at Novo Mesto

At the 36th International Athletics Meeting in Novo Mesto, Tina Šutej secured a convincing victory in the pole vault, clearing 4.50 meters. She remains Slovenia’s top female athlete of recent years, CE Report quotes STA.

Canadian Olympian Madelyn Price won the 400-meter race with a time of 52.51 seconds, ahead of Karolina Zbičajnik from Poljane Maribor, who set a personal best of 52.92 seconds.

Promising young runner Tia Tanja Živko won the 1500-meter race with a powerful finish in the final stretch, clocking a personal best of 4:19.11 to defeat Gresa Bakraci, who had been in the lead and set a new Kosovo record of 4:19.42.

Third-placed Liza Šajn, known for her performance in longer distances, also achieved a personal best with 4:22.90.
