The tournament is organized by the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), the “Albitsol” Foundation, the Sports University of Tirana, and Centro Giovani Calciatori Viareggio (CGC Viareggio), the organizers of the original “Viareggio Cup.”

The Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu, welcomed the organizing team of this major sporting event currently taking place in Albania, “EAGLE CUP 2025.”

Minister Manastirliu stated that she was pleased to meet with Fulvio Collovati, a legend of Italian football, as well as former AC Milan player and journalist Enzo Gambaro, along with the project’s creator Vasenka Rangu and the rector of the Sports University, Agron Kasa, CE Report quotes ATA.

“Thanks to this collaboration, this international youth tournament is being successfully held for the first time in Albania, turning our country into a meeting point for young football talents from both Albania and around the world,” Manastirliu said.

This edition features 12 teams from various countries, with over 260 young players competing until the final on June 15.

The tournament aims to promote youth football development and create international experiences for young players, bringing another valuable event to Albania’s youth.
