Iulian Chirita took silver in the men's singles after a tight 3-4 loss to France’s Flavien Coton. Zaharia also earned silver in the women’s doubles with Bianca Mei-Rosu.

Bronze medals went to Ioana Singeorzan and Elena Zaharia in the women’s singles, Singeorzan again in women's doubles with Croatia’s Hana Arapovic, and Chirita/Istrate in men's doubles.

This marks Romania's best performance in the tournament’s history, surpassing last year's six-medal haul in Skopje.
