Bulgarian gymnasts secured two bronze medals on Sunday during the FIG World Challenge Cup finals in Varna. Eddie Penev placed third in the vault, while Nikol Stoimenova earned bronze on the balance beam, CE Report quotes BTA

The team concluded the tournament with five medals: one gold, two silver, and two bronze. Eddie Penev had already claimed gold in the floor exercise on Saturday, with his brother Kevin Penev taking silver, and Valentina Georgieva finishing second in the vault.

This edition marks Bulgaria’s most successful World Cup performance, with ten final appearances and five medals—just two weeks before the European Championships in Leipzig, Germany, from May 26 to 31.
