Seven Bulgarian athletes have secured spots at the World Badminton Championships, set to take place in Paris from August 25 to 30, national head coach Petya Nedelcheva told the Bulgarian News Agency on Thursday, CE Report quotes BTA

Kaloyana Nalbantova and Stefani Stoeva will compete in the women's singles, while the pairs Stefani Stoeva/Gabriela Stoeva and Mihaela Chepisheva/Tsvetina Popivanova qualified for the women’s doubles. Ivan Rusev and Iliyan Stoynov earned a spot in the men’s doubles.

Dimitar Yanakiev (men’s singles) and the mixed pair Gabriela Stoeva/Evgeni Panev are still in contention for additional quotas.
